Whitney is the proud owner and founder of Moxie Miller, a studio established in September 2019. Staying rooted in her East Tennessee upbringing (Go Vols!), she is committed to delivering an elevated, personalized experience for every client, team member, and vendor who walks through the door.
Whitney holds a BFA in Interior Design from Winthrop University. While interior design provided a strong creative foundation, she soon transitioned her eye for form, balance, and detail into the beauty industry. In 2012, she completed Paul Mitchell’s first night school program, where she began building her expertise behind the chair.
She went on to grow her clientele at Juve Salon Studio, refining her skills in precision men’s cutting and blonding. During this time, Whitney also expanded into makeup artistry under the guidance of Ashley Brook Perryman of ABP Makeup, where she worked in a collaborative team environment producing cohesive runway looks.
Her work has also been featured in local publications including Elysian and Town Carolina, highlighting her continued presence and recognition within the regional creative and beauty community.
With over a decade of experience across hair, makeup, and client-focused artistry, Whitney has developed a well-rounded and refined approach to beauty. She has also traveled for clients internationally, with Italy being a favorite destination.
At Moxie Miller, Whitney’s philosophy is rooted in welcoming new clients with ease, embracing creative challenges, and providing a highly personalized beauty experience that feels both elevated and intentional.

STYLIST
Debbie specializes in highlighting and coloring especially blonding, lived in blondes, and adding dimension to brunettes. She is also skilled at scalp massage and relaxation techniques, so a shampoo and blowout from Debbie is an especially enjoyable experience. Debbie’s love for others extends beyond the doors of the salon. As a doula since 2002, she has committed herself to serving families during some of the most important times of their lives. Debbie loves bringing that same care and concern to helping her clients achieve their vision and feel beautiful on the inside and out. As a Wisconsin native and an avid Green Bay Packers fan, she loves sports and knows she’s not alone. She adores creation and being outside for a stroll at the beach and finding the everyday wonders of a simple life. She absolutely loves this profession, her co-workers, and her clients. You are welcome in this space!

STYLIST
Lauren is an Asheville native who moved to Charleston with her husband and growing family. A graduate of Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology, she has been behind the chair since 2020, where she truly loves helping clients feel confident, cared for, and comfortable in their own skin. She specializes in cutting, color, and blonding, and believes every appointment is more than just hair—it’s time set aside to feel refreshed, heard, and renewed.
With 10 years of experience as a medical assistant, Lauren brings a calm, compassionate presence to every client relationship. When she’s not at the salon, she’s homeschooling her children, spending meaningful time with her family, reading, and enjoying the quiet beauty of nature.

Maddie specializes in blondes and creating low maintenance, lived in color for her clients. She loves giving her clients a color that fits their lifestyle. She truly believes in providing clients an exciting and rejuvenating experience, all while giving the best professional service. For as long as Maddie can remember she has had a passion for all things hair. Coming all the way from Maine, she has worked with some extraordinary hair stylists to create the perfect salon experience. When she’s not behind the chair, she loves walking the beach, listening to music and shopping. If you’re looking for a new stylist, she’s your girl!
kayla
STYLIST
Kayla is a professional hair stylist and extension specialist. She began her beauty industry passion at a very early age, growing up in her Grandmother’s salon. She knew exactly what she wanted to do and where she wanted to be. She has always loved doing hair; from styling doll hair to practicing on her friends. She had a passion and knew it had to be expanded upon.
Kayla studied at the Aveda Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina but hasn’t stopped learning since. She began assisting Global Award Winning stylists to gain experience, before stepping behind the chair and taking her own clients. She continues to expand on her knowledge of the industry by attending classes to learn from the industry’s top stylist. Education is key to success in this industry as styles and trends are ever changing.

Originally from Johnsonville, SC, Liz Chandler has called Charleston home for the past four years. A graduate of Paul Mitchell The School, Liz brings a fresh and knowledgeable approach to hair with a passion for creating customized color and styles that truly suit each client’s personality and lifestyle. She specializes in blonding, lived-in color, and helping her guests maintain the health and integrity of their hair through proper technique and product education.
Liz is known for her warm personality and dedication to making every guest feel confident and cared for. She’s especially passionate about professional products—how they work, how to use them, and how they can transform the health of your hair between appointments.
Outside the salon, Liz enjoys time with family and friends, is actively involved in her church, and loves exploring Charleston’s many restaurants, coffee shops, and beaches. Growing up in the Lowcountry, she also has a deep love for the outdoors, fishing, and boating. Music is a constant in her life, with country and indie favorites always playing in the background.

Olivia is a fun-loving stylist who is excited to meet all her new clients! Growing up in Charleston, Olivia’s love for hairstyling has always been a part of her life. She graduated high school with a license in cosmetology and has a love for blondes and lived in color. Her passion for creating beautiful styles pushes her to provide a relaxing, light-hearted, and enjoyable experience! Not only does Olivia want her clients to be in love with their hair, but she also strives to keep the health and integrity of everyone’s hair in mind. She enjoys spending time with friends, beach days, and creating memories to last a lifetime! Originally from Chicago, Angela brings warmth, creativity, and genuine care to every guest who sits in her chair. She is a proud mom of three kids and three dogs. She enjoys spending her free time going on walks with her dogs and cooking for her family and friends. Angela was a loyal client of the salon for four years before her passion for hair inspired her to pursue it professionally. She graduated Paul Mitchell and now specializes in all over tonal blonding. Angela always aims to make each client feel confident and seen. What truly sets Angela apart is her focus on scalp and hair health. Trained in massage, she loves incorporating relaxing scalp treatments and thoughtful touches that turn every appointment into a restorative experience. With Angela, you’re not just getting a great style, you’re getting personalized care from someone who truly loves what she does.
